We’re pleased to share that work on Cherry Tree Lane Community Garden has recommenced. The garden has been designed and developed in partnership with Sunnyside Rural Trust – a local charity and social enterprise offering training and work experience for over 170 vulnerable people.
Further to the archaeological trenching work that took place last Autumn, a small number of fields to be trenched were postponed until the Spring.
The scheme, which will deliver thousands of new homes and jobs, has been shaped by over a year of collaboration and engagement with local communities.

We are now progressing with work on a planning application for our East Hemel site, which forms part of the HGC programme, and we look forward to holding our first full public consultation later this year to give the local community and other stakeholders the opportunity to share their views.
